WayLink Systems Corporation is looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our on-site development team. You will play a key role in creating and supporting software solutions that power our automated pavement condition survey systems — combining high-resolution imaging, LIDAR, and real-time GPS data.

This is a hands-on, on-site position working closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, field technicians, and data scientists to deliver reliable, high-performance applications used across transportation infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain software for data collection and analysis systems

Develop tools for image and video processing, data visualization, and reporting

Integrate sensor data (GPS, LIDAR, cameras) into software workflows

Test and debug software in real-time, field-based environments

Collaborate with field teams to support deployments and troubleshoot issues

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Proficient in C++, Python, or Java

Experience with image processing (e.g., OpenCV), or geospatial data a plus

Familiarity with embedded or real-time systems is beneficial

Strong analytical skills and the ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment
